About Us

Savannah Food Hub is a community-driven marketplace dedicated to connecting local farmers, makers, and food enthusiasts in the heart of Savannah. We believe in fostering a sustainable food ecosystem by supporting small-scale growers, artisanal producers, and passionate home cooks who bring fresh, high-quality goods to the table.

We are more than just a marketplace—we are a movement. Through pop-up events, farm-to-table collaborations, and hands-on learning experiences, we empower our community to embrace a healthier, more sustainable way of eating and living.

Join us in celebrating the flavors of Savannah, one harvest at a time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make local, seasonal, and organic food accessible to everyone while strengthening the bond between producers and consumers. Whether you're looking for farm-fresh produce, handcrafted goods, or educational workshops on sustainable living, Savannah Food Hub is your go-to destination.

Meet the Team

  • Andrew Morris

    CO-FOUNDER

Andrew Morris, owner and operator of Savannah Hydroponics & Organics (SH&O), is a self-taught gardener who loves to share his passion for good living with others. Andrew opened SH&O in January 2009 to fill the need for a local source of specialty gardening and hydroponic supplies here in the Low-country.

Born and raised in southern California where he was exposed to gardening, recycling, and composting at an early age, he was taught the benefits of sustainable living. Leaving So-Cal for the mountains of Lake Tahoe as a young adult, his love for growing plants truly emerged. With snow on the ground up to eight months of the year, he started using lighting and hydroponic systems to grow plants year round indoors.

After leaving California, he lived in Hawaii for almost two years, where, between his jobs as a boat captain, he helped his friends with a gardening store in Maui. He found his way to the Low-country via Harbor Town Marina after a period of living and working on yachts.

Growing plants has been the primary focus of Andrew’s personal and professional interests for more than a decade. Since opening SH&O, Andrew has participated in many community events in and around Beaufort and Chatham Counties.

In his free time, you can find him living the good life with his wife, Kelly, and sons, Jack and Cooper.

  • Kelly Morris

    CO-FOUNDER

After 15 years in corporate marketing and institutional communications, Kelly Morris made the bold leap into entrepreneurship—trading deadlines for dirt and boardrooms for bloom fields. As a small-scale food producer, culinary educator, and modern homesteader, she now leads Savannah Hydroponics & Organics and Bloom Flower Farm in Garden City, Georgia.

Kelly helps others reconnect with their food, their roots, and their purpose—offering tools, education, and inspiration for living more sustainably and joyfully. Whether she’s arranging freshly cut, locally grown organic flowers, making a seasonal meal from market finds, or teaching others how to grow their own food, Kelly shows that thriving doesn’t require perfect conditions—just the courage to bloom where you’re planted.

  • Heather O'Sullivan

    PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Heather came to gardening through her passion for nature and the environment. She has spent the past several years learning as much as she can about organic gardening, pollinators, native plant species and since joining the SavHydro team, hydroponic gardening.

Heather is a seeker who loves to learn and to share knowledge with others. She loves getting to know our customers, learning from them and finding new ways to help them grow.

When not at the shop, she can be found going on long walks with her husband, Michael, and cooking delicious meals from the garden.
